WOD 081612

Welcome!  I hope you are as excited about the coming year as I am.  You know exactly what I am expecting out of you so let's get started!

FITNESS TEST

Today your current fitness will be tested with the following exercises:
  •  Body Squats (aka Air Squats)
  •  Push Ups
  •  Sit Ups
  •  Burpees
  •  Prayer Squats for time
Each exercise will be measured twice for 1 minute a piece with the exception of the Prayer Squats.

ESSENTIAL QUESTION

How do you feel physically, emotionally, mentally after the workout?  Did you do as well as you expected?  Post your response in the comment section.

  1. at first i was tired in class..During the workout i was felling the burn and i got all sweaty n stuff eww...After the work out i fell energized not tired anymore..

    1. I'm glad to see that you have not lost all of the ground you gained last year. We will start focusing on a few breathing techniques to help get the proper oxygen flow and hopefully deter that headache and such. Keep working hard!

  5. I really thought this was a good workout to start out with if your a beginner or just wanna do something that wont completely exhaust you.

    1. I'm glad you enjoyed the workout. Keep in mind these workouts are designed for the subject to determine how hard they should push themselves. If you want to be on the ground exhausted after a workout then you need to push harder. I know for a fact you were exhausted but you certainly could have pushed harder on the prayer squats. Keep up the hard work and you will push the intensity to that next level!
